Application：
The use of ethylene glycol butyl ether
1. Used as a solvent for paints and inks, components of metal cleaning agents and raw materials for dye dispersants.
2. It is mainly used as a solvent for nitrocellulose, synthetic resin, spray paint, quick-drying paint, varnish, enamel, lipid and paint remover. It can also be used as fiber wetting agent, pesticide dispersant, resin plasticizer, organic synthesis intermediate. Auxiliary solvent to improve emulsifying properties and to dissolve mineral oils in soaps.
3. Used as a reagent and solvent for the determination of iron and molybdenum, and also for the separation of calcium and strontium in nitrate.
4. Used as non-active diluents for adhesives, metal detergents, paint removers, fiber wetting agents, pesticide dispersants, drug extractants, resin plasticizers and organic synthesis intermediates, etc. It is also used as a high-boiling solvent for paints, especially nitro spray paints, which can prevent fogging and wrinkling, and improve the gloss and fluidity of paint films.
