On the supply side, the operating rate for ethyl acetate declined slightly this week, and there is little pressure regarding spot market availability. Regarding raw materials, the price of acetic acid continued to rise, increasing production costs for ethyl acetate manufacturers and supporting high price levels for the product. On the demand side, downstream buyers have shown resistance to high-priced supplies, limiting their purchasing to immediate needs and failing to provide significant market momentum; consequently, with some market participants adopting a cautious stance, ethyl acetate prices saw a slight pullback to facilitate sales.
Looking ahead, upstream prices for ethyl acetate remain high, providing cost-side support.
