Soda ash
Product Description:
Sodium carbonate
Soda ash, chemically known as sodium carbonate, is a common chemical substance widely used in daily life and industrial production. It typically exists as a white powder or granules, is readily soluble in water, and its aqueous solution is alkaline. Contact with skin can cause slight irritation. It is thermally stable, decomposing only at 851℃; it reacts with acids to produce carbon dioxide gas.
Soda ash can be obtained from both natural and synthetic sources. Natural soda ash primarily comes from alkali lakes and natural alkali mines, while synthetic soda ash is produced through chemical methods such as the ammonia-soda process and the combined alkali process.

Application:
Industrial Applications: Soda ash is widely used in the chemical, glass, textile, pulp, and detergent industries. It is a basic raw material for the production of fertilizers, cleaning agents, and glass.
Water Treatment: Soda ash is commonly used in water treatment to help adjust the pH level of water and remove hardness (such as calcium and magnesium ions).
Cleaning Agents: As a cleaning agent, soda ash can help remove grease and grime, especially when cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.
Product packaging:
Product Specifications: 40KG/bag 50KG/bag 1000kg ton bag
Storage Method: Store in a cool, sealed place.
Safety precautions for the storage and transportation of soda ash:
Soda ash should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated place, avoiding contact with acidic substances to prevent reactions that produce harmful gases. During transportation, sealed containers must be used to prevent moisture and contamination. Handlers should wear protective equipment, such as gloves and masks, to reduce skin and respiratory irritation. Although soda ash is not classified as a hazardous material, improper handling may cause discomfort or injury.
